Giving to UMMA

The University of Michigan Museum of Art’s award-winning exhibitions and programs reach more than 200,000 annual visitors onsite and a similar size global audience via exhibition tours, publications, and web-based tools.

Donor support allows UMMA to:

  • Develop exhibitions drawn from private and public collections across the globe, including UMMA’s own outstanding holdings of Western, Asian, and African art that span cultures, eras, and media.
  • Offer diverse public programs that showcase contemporary creative practice across the visual arts, music, dance, film, and the written and spoken word.
  • Provide university and K-12 students with dynamic learning opportunities.

In addition to project-specific support, UMMA relies on membership, event revenue, and endowments to help create living and meaningful connections for visitors through direct experience with a variety of art forms, making UMMA a meeting place for the arts and a center of civic life.

Thank you for your support of UMMA.
