CampaignGifts to the BuildingEven before the official launch of the campaign in 2004, supporters demonstrated an extraordinary level of commitment to UMMA. An anonymous donation of $5 million and several gifts of $1 million were followed by a $10 million contribution from The Maxine and Stuart Frankel Foundation of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, the largest gift in the Museum’s long history. These and other preliminary gifts, all eloquent votes of confidence, have built crucial momentum for the $48.9 million campaign, $41.9 million of which will be used to expand and renovate the Museum. Every gift is important and will be recognized in the Museum’s campaign report and as part of The Michigan Difference Campaign for Michigan. All gifts of $10,000 or greater will be recognized on the donor wall in the Museum’s new wing. Naming opportunities are available for all major spaces, including but not limited to:
