Deputy Consul General Ryoji Noda, of the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit, presented a significant grant to the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) on behalf of the Japan Foundation. Mr. Noda presented a check for ¥1 million, or approximately $10,000 U.S., Tuesday morning. Mr. Takashi Omitsu, Corporate Executive Advisor at Aisin Seiki, also presented a $10,000 corporate sponsorship.
