I think it is very interesting to see how artists view themselves. I like that Rembrandt is looking directly at us. He has posed himself in a distinguished and confident manner, but his furrowed brow suggests a very human character within those fancy clothes! I enjoy looking at how he uses line to create the textures of his hair, cloak and feathered hat.
