    Visiting

    Class Visits and Tours

Docent-led public tours of current exhibitions are offered several times a month, usually on Thursday evenings at 7 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2 pm, at UMMA Off/Site, our temporary gallery space at 1301 S. University. Additional tours, as well as curator’s talks and other programs, are also available so please check current listings for details. Tours are free of charge, are available on a drop-in basis, and last between 45 and 60 minutes. View Program Calendar.

Adult groups of 10 or more are invited to schedule a guided tour. Advance notice of three weeks is recommended. Please contact Debbie Swartz at dgswartz@umich.edu or call 734.647.0522 to make a reservation.

University classes and school groups are invited to visit our exhibitions at Off/Site while our main facility is closed. Faculty, instructors, and K-12 classroom teachers are asked to schedule guided tours at least three weeks in advance by contacting Debbie Swartz at dgswartz@umich.edu or calling 734.647.0522. Self-guided groups are also welcome but are required to schedule in advance to ensure a good experience for all.
