Beyond Borders: Global Africa: A Conversation with University of Michigan Students

U-M students Lenae Jefferson and Qwantayvious Stiggers will engage visitors in a conversation about art, identity, borders, and other matters on the closing day of the exhibition Beyond Borders: Global Africa. Ms. Jefferson was the 2018 UMMA Bennett Summer Intern as well as a Program Intern at the Motown Museum. She has been involved in the Vice President for Student Life’s Student Advisory Board and the Prison Creative Arts Project. Mr. Stiggers has served on the executive board of Habitat for Humanity, as a member of the Black Student Union, and as a leader in Bridge Scholars PLUS. Join these accomplished and dedicated students in a meaningful discussion in this exciting exhibition before it closes.
