Zell Visiting Writers Series: Fiction Author Jakob Guanzon

Jakob Guanzon is most recently the author of Abundance, which was longlisted for the 2021 National Book Award. His short stories have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and have appeared in Split Lip Magazine, Juked, Breakwater Review, and elsewhere. He has written translations while living in Madrid, Spain, and currently lives in Harlem, New York.

The Zell Visiting Writers Series is a reading series presented by the Helen Zell Writers’ Program in partnership with the University of Michigan Museum of Art, with support from the Department of English Language & Literature, the Office of the Vice President for Research, and Janey Lack.
