The Mark Webster Reading Series: Robert Laidler (poetry), Afarin Allabakhshizadeh (fiction)

All readings will be available to watch simultaneously via Zoom:

The Mark Webster Reading Series presents emerging writers in a warm and relaxed setting. MFA second-year students in fiction and poetry, each introduced by a peer, will share a sample of their work. Friends, family, and members of the Ann Arbor community are welcome to attend the readings both in-person and synchronously on Zoom. 

Robert Laidler is a poet from the central region of North America, who specializes in trying to put words in an order that makes sense. 

Afarin Allabakhshizadeh was born in the Khūzestān Province of Iran and raised in Texas. They are currently an MFA candidate in fiction at the Helen Zell Writers' Program.
