The Mark Webster Reading Series: Gwen Mugodi, ​Ebenezer Agu (poet), Tamar Ashdot

All readings will be available to watch simultaneously via Zoom:

The Mark Webster Reading Series presents emerging writers in a warm and relaxed setting. MFA second-year students in fiction and poetry, each introduced by a peer, will share a sample of their work. Friends, family, and members of the Ann Arbor community are welcome to attend the readings both in-person and synchronously on Zoom. 

Gwen Mugodi is a writer from Zimbabwe.
Ebenezer Agu is a poet, nonfiction writer, and literary critic. He is the founder of 20.35 Africa and editor-in-chief of its publications. He is a 2022 Fellow of the Los Angeles Review of Book Publishing Workshop, was recently listed in Open Country Magazine's "The Next Generation" special issue for African literature, and a 2020 nominee for The Future Awards Africa Prize for Literature.

Tamar Ashdot is an artist from Brooklyn, New York who you’ll often find behind the camera, close to the speakers & singing jazz, or in Ann Arbor writing words.
