K-12 Virtual Learning Experiences

UMMA is committed to protecting the safety of students, teachers, and visitors. Many schools are completely remote, and UMMA is not offering in-person guided group tours at this point. We want to be in the building, too! But in the meantime, there are many virtual ways to incorporate UMMA’s collection into your teaching.

Narrated Field Trips

Take a tour of UMMA’s galleries and objects, narrated by UMMA staff and volunteer educators. Find them with our online collection of teaching resources.

Interactive Visual Analysis Activity

Especially when learning is online, students benefit from making their own choices. Explore an example of a visual analysis exercise that allows students a sense of agency while looking deeply and thinking critically. This exercise is easily run by a teacher via video call using screen sharing.
