Other Free and Reciprocal Membership Programs

UMMA Study Days: December 12–15, 2019
by Mark Gjukich

UMMA is free for everyone, and all are welcome. We are proud to belong to a variety of organizations offering free and reciprocal memberships to Museum visitors across the country.

Museums for All

Through Museums for All, individuals receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 700 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) card. UMMA’s admission is already free for everyone, but with Museums for All, EBT cardholders receive a 10% discount in the UMMA Shop.

Blue Star Museums

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America. The program offers free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. The program is active each year from Armed Forces Day (in mid-May) to Labor Day (early September).

College and University Art Museums (CUAM)

Available for all UMMA members, CUAM includes complimentary admission to over 60 museums. View a list of participating museums below.
