Study Break Features
Micro Moments of Magic
Adam Hess and Jeremy Mulder are bringing their participatory art project, Micro Moments of Magic, to the UMMA lobby. Armed with rolls of white paper labeled “Smiles” and “Eye Contact,” they’ll tally every genuine connection with passing students—each mark a tiny pause in the chaos. Through humor, presence, and play, they’ll help students feel seen and grounded before diving back into exams, recharged and ready to crush it.
[Art]roductions and [Art]breakers
Bite-sized creative activities where you can chill out, have fun, and connect with fellow humans. Developed by Jonathan Holland, these 10-15 minute drawing and writing games, will have you break out playdoh, crayons, and your imaginations to create characters, spin stories, and build community—leaving you creatively recharged and ready to ace that exam.
