Webster Reading Series: Anthony DiCarlo and Yash Kumbhat
Organized by the Helen Zell Writers’ Program and presented in partnership with the University of Michigan Museum of Art, the Mark Webster Reading Series showcases the work of second-year MFA students in fiction and poetry. Friends, family, and members of the Ann Arbor community are welcome to attend the readings both in-person (in Stern Auditorium at the University of Michigan Museum of Art) or live on Zoom.
Anthony DiCarlo is from Davis, California. After beginning dozens of ambitiously long (over 2 pages) SFF novels between the ages of 9 and 13, he now writes poetry. His greatest poetic influences recently have been Rebecca Hawkes, Matthew Buxton, Nora Sullivan, Noor Al-Samarrai, Diego Balvin Risco, Clara Rosarius, Malia Maxwell, and Ethan Hsi.
Yash is a writer from Calcutta, India.
