Description

Subject Matter:

Isoda Koryūsai is known for his prints of beautiful women. This one, in particular, depicts a girl selling tea at the tea house Iseya.

Physical Description:

As the title suggests, this narrow print depicts a woman in a tea house. The girl looks to the left in front of a background of various tea wares, a pot, and cups. She holds what appears to be some sort of donut-shaped ware. Above her is a cloth sign that says "Iseya". To the bottom left is a vertical inscription. Closer to the corner is a seal.
