Saito Kiyoshi was a 20th-century Sosaku-hanga artist, a movement that emphasized self-expression and the individual creation of prints. He issued his first prints in the now-famous "Winter in Aizu" series. This series was based on his hometown in Fukushima prefecture.
Saito Kiyoshi spent time in Paris and titled the works he made there "Autumn". Those prints are considered to be very rare and valuable.
Physical Description:
A gray figure with long hair and with flowers in front of them. Two of the flowers give the appearance of eyes. The background is blue. There is a signature in the bottom left.
