Subject Matter:

Jiang Chenying's Calligraphy in Running Script is a scroll depicting the artist's use of characters, brushstrokes, and ink tones-- which were regarded as expressive and culturally resilient, yet a reflection of the praised, fourth-century master Wang Xianzhi's style.
