Description

Subject Matter:

This casting is the first in a series. The shape of the sculpture reflects the artist's interest in how machine parts of the industrial age can be viewed as relics of modernity.

Physical Description:

Sculpture made of glass and copper, with a tall base on which five cylinders of decreasing diameter sit, like a layer cake. Sculpture is hollow and the surface smooth on the interior.
