Description

Subject Matter:

The ornament is a fragment of a chandelier meant to resemble Queen Anne's Lace. It was originally made to hang in the Music Room of Havemeyer House in New York City.

Physical Description:


A metallic, silver-toned ornament comrpised of eight elliptical leaf-like shapes attached at the top, which fan out and overlap one another. Each of the eight forms contains finely textured strands of metal draped horizontally.
