Description

Subject Matter:

This figure is Zhang Fei, a general of Liu Bei. Zhang Fei was general of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and the black on his mask symbolizes fierceness and boldness. Zhang Fei's mask is well known and can be identified by a black-cross butterfly. 

Physical Description:

Human figure in bright clothing holding an axe. He stands with bent knees and feet wide apart, with his arms extended away from his body. He is wearing a traditional Chinese opera mask and looks to the left.
