In this photograph, the actress Charlotte Rampling is seated nude on a table at the legendary Hotel Nord Pinus in Arles, France. Centered in the frame, she leans back on her arm and looks over her shoulder at the viewer with a sultry gaze. Her right hand grips the top of a wine glass on the edge of the table near a pack of cigarettes. Her pose is provacative as she sits nude in this ornate and plushly decorated room.
