Description

Subject Matter:

Cherries in Brandy was Fish's first print as a professional artist. Fish is known for her hyperrealist still life prints and paintings, and her emphasis on the details of light and shadow; additionally, Fish's paintings are characterized by their vibrant colors. She commonly depicts transparent vessels such as bottles, vases, jars, glasses, etc. 

Physical Description:

This print shows two side-by-side transparent bottles of whole cherries in brandy which take up the entire page. Two cherries with leaves and stems are wrapped around the cap of each bottle.
