Description

Subject Matter:

In 1956 Saito Kiyoshi visited Mexico where he created many pieces inspired by his travels. Here he continued his simplistic trend and further honed his ability to simplify cityscapes.

Physical Description:

This print uses abstract shapes to depict a town and a man. The town is constructed with simplistic geometric boxes. There are colorful ladders and stick-looking objects that may operate as a gate. The man is in the left bottom corner. There is a signature just underneath him.
