Subject Matter:

In this photograph, a nude female figure stands left of center, holding a large glass sphere held at shoulder-level. She stands in shallow water that barely covers her feet, and expands into the background of the composition. The image is comprised of soft tonal gradations, lending to its calm and dreamy aesthetic.

Nude woman turned away from the viewer. She is holding a glass sphere at the height of her shoulder, standing in shallow water.
