Subject Matter:
This work is reminiscent of much of the artist's work from the 1970s, in which he was very interested in lines. The artist believed that lines have the ability to bring the surface of a canvas to life, especially lines that repeat in rhythmic patterns.
Physical Description:
An abstract composition with yellow and orange overlapping quadrilateral shapes on a dark orange and yellow striped background. The seeming translucency of the shapes in the composition make them appear 3-dimensional.
