Description

Subject Matter:

Felix Ruvolo was a distinguished abstract artist, and was included in the Museum of Modern Art's 1951 Abstract Painting and Sculpture in America exhibition. Ruvolo exhibited widely, and taught at the Art Institute of Chicago (1945-1948), Mills College (1948 summer session), and University of California, Berkeley (1950-1978). Ruvolo was a part of the Berkeley School of Abstract Expressionism.

This multi-colored, high saturation color, abstract image floats on a black background.
