Subject Matter:

Yoshida Toshi was associated with the Creative Print movement which was gaining strength during the 1920s and the 1930s in Japan. While landscape was a frequent subject of his printmaking works, the artist was also known for his abstract and animals prints.

Physical Description:

This print depicts a street scene in Tokyo, in which women, a child and a dog are portrayed.
