Description

Subject Matter:

Geometric gold-weight in the shape of a rectangular base decorated with a raised wavy line and a raised straight line. 

Physical Description:

Gold-weight in the shape of a rectangular base with a raised wavy line next to a single raised line. There is a piece of an unknown metal in the center of the weight as well as a casting sprue, called gyinae (cf. Sheales, African Goldweights, 2014), still attached on one side.
