Description

Subject Matter:

This is another instance of Saito Kiyoshi's work on religion. A bodhisattva is a person who is able to reach Nirvana but delays it out of compassion to save suffering people. 

Physical Description:

This is a print depicting the head of a statue on a dark background. The head looks to the right and belongs to a bodhisattva. There is a red seal on the bottom right.
