Description

Subject Matter:

The subjects of this group portrait are Heather Brown, Mimi Brown, Bebe Brown Nixon, and Laurie Brown (in order, left to right). The four women stand outdoors--the foliage of a forest visible in the softly blurred background. Heather and Mimi have their arms wrapped around each other's shoulder, while Laurie has her arms crossed. Bebe stands stolidly with her hands in her pockets. The frame captures roughly three quarters of the figures' bodies in the foreground of the image.
