Description

Subject Matter:

Another subject study, this painting is a study of hydrangeas. Hydrangeas are a native flower to Japan and are known for their beauty. They can symbolize heartfelt emotions such as gratitude, understanding, and apology. 

Physical Description:

This is a painting of two blue hydrangea flowers. Painted to the center-right, the flowers use a combination of blue, green, and black. To the left of the flowers is an inscription in black ink followed by a stamp in red ink.
