Description

Subject Matter:

This work was part of Salvador Dalí's 1975 Imaginations and Objects of the Future portfolio. It contained ten prints with an introductory text by the artist that discussed the project's focus on new technologies' ability to create an alternate universe, especially through holograms. In this print, biological nature has merged with electric technology.

Physical Description:

This print depicts a series of elements in a watery landscape. There are two tree-powerlines coming from the bottom left and right that have red fruits hanging from them. Below, there are large yellow shapes, outlined in green, with figures drawn in red. At the bottom, in the center, there is a collaged image that is abstract. There is a horizon line at the center of the print with a distance mountain range at the left. Above, there are a series of flora and fauna, red and yellow flowers and leaves and a collage and painted dragonfly. The background looks like a structure, designed in green lines, with another landscape behind it. The print is signed (l.r.) and numbered (l.l.) in pencil.
