Description

Subject Matter:

Zenmai tsumugi is a partially cotton and silk fabric in which the texture is created using zenmai (coiled thread). Garments with no inner lining (hitoe) are less formal and are typically worn in between seasons.

Mottled brown zenmai tsumugi (textured) kimono with no inner lining (hitoe).
