Description

Subject Matter:

In Central Africa, metal swords were used as weapons of warfare and at other times as ceremonial items. The specific function of this sword is unknown. 

Physical Description:

The blade of this sword is large and flat. The center of this paddle-like blade has a textured, dotted center. The wooden handle has a ribbed section in the center.
