Description

Subject Matter:

Ward Ritchie participated in the "golden age of printing" in the United States that took place in the 1920s and 1930s. He primarily printed pooks through his own printing press. Sometimes the books were one's he authored himself and sometimes he printed other people's publications. Ritchie was a self-proclaimed bibliophile who was born and raised in California and he spent the majority of his life in the state.
