Subject Matter:
In this portfolio of seven selected images, Erica Lennard has included fine art photographs of gardens in Japan, England, Tunisia, France, and Italy. The black and white images are enlarged and printed with high contrast, creating moody and grainy atmospheres. Exaggerated black and white forms repeat in the images, flattening the perspectival plane.
Physical Description:
A black and white photograph of a stream, over which a rock formation arcs. On either side of the stream various flora including palms and trees frame the composition.
