Description

Subject Matter:

Weegee photographed New York City’s night: crimes, fires, accidents, sleep, and as seen in this photograph, love. As a witness, he looked for uninhibited and sensational events. Here a couple passionately kisses among a crowd in a theater as a 3-D film plays in a public theater. Weegee uses infrared light to capture these lovers in an embrace, unaware of the photographer.

Physical Description:

A photograph of a couple wearing 3-D glasses and kissing inside of a movie theater.
