This print is meant to be an exact copy, or facsimile, of Sesshu Toyo's landscape painting. Sesshu Toyo was a prominent painter of ink and ink wash style paintings. He predominantly painted landscapes and due to the notoriety of his work, it has been replicated, as we can see here.

Physical Description:

This long print depicts roofed buildings on the left with rough outcroppings on the right. The landscape is littered with trees and obscured partially by clouds or fog. There are impressions of mountains in the background and on the left, impressions of buildings as well. On the right with the rock outcroppings are two travelers making their way to the left.
