Description

Subject Matter:

In this photograph, a woman and a young child stand left of center, embracing. The woman wears a long, light, patterned dress with draped sleeves. The female child is nude. The title of this image, "Nature," prompts the viewer to contrast the nude youth to the clothed adult woman. A large tree forms the central focus of the natural backdrop of this photograph, which appears staged.

Physical Description:

Two figures stand against a tree, hugging. One is a clothed adult woman and the other is a nude, young, female child.
