Description

Inscription: Shunrin teishi zu [1830] Chikutô sanjin. 2 seals.

Subject Matter:

This painting is in the Nanga style which typically depicts natural scenes with an intentionally unpolished form of painting. 

Physical Description:

This painted hanging scroll depicts a rocky cliff with trees at the base. The trees are around a pavilion at the bottom left. On the upper right is an inscription with three lines in descending order right to left. It is followed by two red stamps.
