Description

Subject Matter:

This still life shows a tray with two quinces and grapes. While not native to the United States, quinces are grown in Greece where George Constant was born and raised. He made many prints of still lifes including this one, commissioned by a New Deal art project.

Physical Description:

This print shows a platter with two quinces and a bunch of grapes. Some of the grapes are spilling off of the tray and onto a cloth like surface.
