Red and Black Composition II
Lynn Chadwick
Description
Subject Matter:
This highly abstract composition was made during an experimental phase of Chadwick's artist career. In 1960 he began to make abstract prints that were more geometric than his previous figurative work. Chadwick was never satisfied with these types of work though and abandoned the practice by 1967.
