Description

Subject Matter:

Birds played an important ceremonial role in Ancient Puebloan cultures, and appear in designs on pottery as well as in three-dimensional effigy forms, such as this pot. 

Physical Description:

This mug-sized vessel has a bulbous body, a narrower tall neck, and handle. It is beige with black painted geometric and striped design.
