Description

Subject Matter:

Shigeo Fukuda was vocal about his environmentalist and pacifist views, as evident in this work’s depiction of a crying human eye with an Earth-like sphere as its pupil. He created this poster for the second United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992.
