Description

Subject Matter:

Pete Turner, a pioneer in color photography, has blurred boundaries between commercial and fine art photography throughout his career. In his work, he manipulates hue and saturation to produce vibrant and formally conscious compositions. His fascination with geometry and surrealism is evident in the images from "Selected Color Images," a portfolio of seven color photographs spanning his career.

Physical Description:

A photograph of a picket fence descending into the background. In the far distance, a car with red tail lights sits on the horizon line. The photograph is comprised of blue tones.
