Description

Subject Matter:

A nude figure crouches in the sand, looking at flora. The title names the flowers as wild roses, which comprise the top half of the composition. The young woman's hair is down, and her right arm is outstretched to give her balance in the sand. The woman's body and the light sand are similar tonalities. Similarly, her hair and the wild roses bushes are darker than the majority of the composition.

Physical Description:

A nude female figure crouches in the sand with her right hand extended toward the ground. She is turned away from the camera, looking at vegetation in the background.
