Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom, and learning. The lotus symbolizes light, knowledge, and truth.

Physical Description:

The goddess Saraswati sits among red flowers, possibly lotus. Her left foot is on a flower while her right leg is crossed over on her thigh. She is wearing a red dress and a headdress. An uncolored bird is drawn on the lower left corner of the painting.
