Description

Subject Matter:

This work is exemplary of the artist's vast number of studies of the human form, especially female nudes. Created during his Fauvist period, the strong graphic lines point to the artist's interest in line as well as color.

Physical Description:

In the center of the page, there is a simple drawing of a nude woman seated. The sitter is seated on a chair; her left arm rests on the top of a chair and she is forward-facing.
