Description

Ivory silk with damask pattern in white and beige. Beige thread models the forms. Two classical figures suport a platform with a central vase of flowers. Two birds balance on swags on either side of the vase. On the ground, flanking the figures, is a hydria-like container and censor. An antique-inspired and balanced composition. Probably a lampas fragment
