Subject Matter:
This print depicts the thatched gate to the Buddhist Honen-in Temple in Kyoto, Japan. During this time, Saito Kiyoshi depicted old Japanese cultural relics (locations and objects) and depicted them in a simplistic way.
Physical Description:
This simplistic print depicts a long white stone path leading to a gate into thick wood. There is a signature in the bottom right with a red seal.
