Subject Matter:
Though mostly known as a writer, Saroyan was also a prolific artist and created hundreds of paintings such as this one. The artist was interested in working in quick, rapid bursts of painting and his work is about the free association of form and color.
Physical Description:
A series of multi-colored lines, weaving and twisting, on a white background in a scribbled manner.
